Known for his research into the neuroscience behind economic decision-making, Johnson has contributed research and writing for numerous publications, such as Forbes, Business Insider, and Elite Daily.
Johnson earned his bachelor's in neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego and his doctor of philosophy from Princeton University. He served as a professor and Associate Director of Undergraduate Programs at Palo Alto University, in Silicon Valley, until 2015.
From 2015 up until April 2019, Johnson has served as a professor and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs at Hult International Business School. In 2017, he won "Best Original Screenplay" at the Festigious International Film Festival, in Los Angeles.
